NYC VERT Is a 501 (c) (3) corporation
NY State, NYPD and the MTA requested the support of the Suffolk County SPCA, in cooperation with NYC VERT, for the security dogs and horses working the RNC.

The beginning of our MASH tents on West Street
Vets and techs came from around
the NYC area and beyond.
They worked around the clock for
over 8 weeks.
This spontaneous, professional
unity was the inspiration for the NYC
Veterinary Emergency Response
Team.
